TALENT OF JUNE – Leah Risi
July stands in the stars of our talent Leah Risi. We asked her some questions about her job and personal life.
1. How did you become a model?
I was scouted by Topco Models in the gym. They helped me walk and become more confident as a shy and freshly turned 17 year old girl. I didn’t think much about modelling back then but I honestly thought “what do I have to loose?”. So I gave it a shot and that’s how I am here today.
I don’t really do spontaneous things. I don’t know really why. I sometimes like to have a plan before I do things but my job is quite spontaneous as you fly to different places just for castings, jobs or shows so I’ve learned to go with the flow in that aspect of things. Planning in advance does make me more comfortable but I adapt to spontaneity very well by now. So really it’s a mix of both, I would say.
3. Tell us 3 things that make you unique.
I’m a triplet(fraternal), 3rd one born.I have a weird obsession with buttons, honestly don’t know why but they’re just so cool and I collect them.I’m so afraid of needles that when my sister got her cartilage pierced she was fine and I was the one who fainted.
4. Who was the biggest influence in your life and why?
My dad, because when he was in his mid 20s he traveled and lived in different places and just lived his life the way he wanted.
5. What is your favorite thing about your career?
The fact that I get to travel and see different parts of the world.
6. If you could have a superpower. What would it be?
Teleportation and if people touched me they would come with me
7. What is your favorite place in the world and why?
I haven’t traveled too many places but so far Milan just because I know where everything is and it was the first place I traveled to this year.
