TALENT OF JANUARY – Denise Ascuet
last but not least talent of the month for the year 2023 is our wonderful Denise Ascuet. We asked her a few personal question to get to know her a little better.
1. How did you become a model?
When I was 16 years old, I was scouted by a photographer who worked in an agency in Córdoba, my hometown.
After I was signed with them and doing some of my first jobs, the director introduced me to my current mother agency, Look 1, based in Buenos Aires with whom I began my international career.
2. What was the most spontaneous thing you’ve done lately?
The most spontaneous thing that I’ve done lately, was going to Asia for a month with my boyfriend, around Shanghai, Tokyo, Okinawa and Philippines (mixing a bit of work and holidays), learning to surf and then coming back to Europe and have a job confirmed in Poland. What a contrast!
What makes me think “I’M LIVING DAY BY DAY” and I’m grateful for it!
3. Tell us 3 things that make you unique.

4. Who was the biggest influence in your life and why?
My older sister, since I was a little child she was dressing me, taking photos of me and making me pose. She always had the vision that I could be a model, and she supported me in all my phases. She also taught me so much and the connection between us means so much to me. I love her!
5. What is your favorite thing about your career?
My favorite thing about my career is definitely the possibility to travel, to meet new and beautiful people all the time, and watch all the seeds grow along the way in my internal and external world. My career gives me so much learning! And beautiful memories.
6. If you could have a superpower. What would it be?
My superpower will be protecting and saveing all the animals and childs that are suffering in the world.
7. What is your favorite place in the world and why?
My favorite place in the world is where I live now, Cadiz in the south of Spain, because I have my boyfriend here, who’s family for me. I can be in the countryside surrounded by mountains or easily go t0 the beach, we have mostly sunny days and beautiful whether, which is amazing. We also have wild living animals around which is cute.
