TALENT OF JUNE – Priya Ravi
The Month June stands in the name of our talent Priya Ravi. This time we asked her some question so you can get to know her better.
1. How did you become a model?
Alexandra (the owner of MIRRRS Models) approached me on the street in Hamburg in the evening while I was rushed on my way to my friends because I was already late. We met after some time and I guess that’s how I became a model
2. Tell us 3 things that makes you unique?
1. I am very honest, which is sometimes also a little too much
2. My knowledge of human nature
3. The curiosity I have about life, which makes me leave my comfort zone.
3. If you could change one thing in the world, what would it be?
I think what comes to most people’s minds now is world peace, which I am sure we will achieve in the very distant future. But if it has to be one thing that I could realistically change right now, it would be for people to be more empathetic and understanding towards each other and thereby manage to overcome their self-centredness.
4. If you were a food, what would it be?
I honestly don’t know, but the first thing that came to my mind were Spaghetti, because they are a mess too 😀
5. What job did your parents envision for you?
My mother wanted me to be an engineer, as I think all Indian parents do, but unfortunately I am not gifted in that respect. My father always wanted me to have my own successful business, I think he said it not so much because that was his real career wish for me, but to make me realise as a little girl that women can also achieve great things professionally.
6. What would you get up for in the middle of the night?
To do something fun with my friends or just have a late-night chat with them.
7. Do you have a favourite piece of clothing?
My platform Dr. Martens, they go with everything and make every outfit a bit cooler.
