TALENT OF APRIL – Margot Gaspar
April is the month of our amazing talent Margot Gaspar who we asked a few question so you can get to know her better.
How did you become a model?
I sent many emails to agencies, and I only got bad answers but I kept going trying and finally another agency asked me to meet them. I went there with my mom (I was 15) and IMM (my mother agency now) signed me. I started with Prada -exclusive – and right after: Covid happened. I started working full time 2 years after and signed agencies around the world at this time.
What is the most spontaneous thing you’ve ever done?
I decided to go to theater school and to stay in boarding school. I was really shy and I wasn’t self confident. My cousins bet that I just would stay a 2 weeks max before coming home, I stayed 3 years and after only 3 months everyone was shocked by how much I’ve changed – including me- it was the right decision to make.
Who is/was the biggest influence in you life and why?
My parents, they inspire me everyday. I always see them working a lot to achieve their goals and I want to take this example for my own life.
If you could have a superpower what would it be?
Teleportation, like this I can visit my friends all around the world whenever I want. Also if I want sun or snow I can have them in 1 sec.
What is your favorite thing about your career?
Discover new place and new people from different cultures and horizons. I like to meet people with different perspectives to build myself.
Which country or city is still on your bucket list and why do you wanna go there?
Countries from the north of Europe. Especially Norway where the landscapes look incredible! I want to go for long walks there.
What makes you laugh the most?
Embarrassing situations, they make me uncomfortable and I am a nervous laughter. I tend to have nervous laughs.
